Dear Residents, Welcome to the Police Update for the last week. The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries and vehicle thefts reported between the 22nd January 2025 to 29th January 2026. The report also includes information on arrests in the Borough.
Please Note Arrests. There were 51 arrests in the period January 22nd 2026 to January 28th 2026: Domestic Incident/Violent Domestic Abuse 10, Rape/Sexual Offence 6, Drugs 2, Drunk/Drug Charge 1, Prescribed Limit 3, Violent Crime in a Public Place 1, Violent Crime other 2, Knife/Blade Possession 4, Criminal Damage 1, Master Occurrence 5, None of These 3, Crime Other 2, Robbery 3, Burglary Residential 1, Vehicle Crime 1, Road Related Offence 1, Child Protection 2, Vulnerable Adult 1, Breach of Bail/Custody Issue 1, Out of Force enquiries 1.
There was one Catalytic Converter theft reported this week in the Epsom Downs area. The vehicle was a BMW.
Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough. Records show that there have been two reports of Personal Fraud in the Borough during the last week. These include a Romance Fraud and Social Media fraud.
Burglaries North 22/01/2026 19:50. Merland Rise, Tadworth. Attempted Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Suspect attempted to enter through the front door. Stolen: Nothing Taken. (PR 45260008598) 23/01/2026 10:00. Morden Close, Tadworth. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Suspects have entered the property. Stolen: Not confirmed at this time. (PR 45260008781) 24/01/2026 Between 08:30 to 16:00. Bunbury Way, Epsom Downs. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Access gained through the back door. Stolen: Various items including cash. (PR 45260009405) 26/01/2026 Between 19:00 to 19:34. Linden Close, Tadworth. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry has been gained through a first floor bedroom window. Stolen: Various items including Jewellery and Watches. (PR 45260009945) 27/01/2026 Between 22:45 to 22:55. The Avenue, Tadworth. Residential Burglary resulting in the theft of a car. Method of Entry – Not confirmed at this time. Stolen: Car Keys and Car (Audi). (PR 45260010565)
Central Between 23/01/2026 22:00 to 24/01/2026 08:38. Nutley Lane, Reigate. Residential Outbuilding Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through the shed door. Chain securing the bicycle was cut through and forced open. Stolen: Bicycle. (PR 45260008994) Between 10/01/2026 00:00 to 24/01/2026 13:30. Pilgrims Way, Reigate. Residential Outbuilding Burglary. Method of Entry – Entry through the shed door. Stolen: Bicycle. (PR 45260009163) 25/01/2026 12:39. Rockshaw Road, Merstham. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through the back door. The occupants returned to their property and disturbed the suspect, who then left whilst issuing a threat. Stolen: Nothing taken. (PR 45260009436) Between 24/01/2026 14:00 to 25/01/2026 15:56. Nutley Lane, Reigate. Residential Outbuilding Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through the garden studio door. Stolen: Bicycle. (PR 45260009535)
